The #1 Strategy for Long-Term Brand Success on Amazon
Ezra Firestone from SmartMarketer.com shares the strategy for long-term brand success on Amazon, the three things you should be doing outside of Amazon.com to sell.
The strategy for brand success on Amazon actually has little to do with what’s on Amazon.com and more to do with building a brand everywhere else.
It’s not about your product listing or images, it’s about your brand outside of Amazon.com. Do these 3 things for long-term Amazon brand success.
#1: Generate brand assets
Whether it’s customer emails, Facebook fans, YouTube followers, anyone who has engaged with your brand, these are the people who you can sell directly to when you have a new product to launch.
#2: Create video & written content that’s relevant to your market
You want to create content where the messaging is shared between your customers. You want to build followers that you can follow-up with later, followers who will eventually turn to customers and buy your product. For example, if you sell kitchen knives, you create content around knife skills, share recipes and more that builds an experience around your product.
#3: Track the consumption of your content
The people on Facebook who have watched 50% or more of your videos, for example, those are the people you reach out to sell your products.
This is a slow growth approach but it works. You are building assets that are way more valuable than if you just go out and try to sell products.
